On Monday, September 6, the Peruvian Union University opened the beginning of classes for the 2021-II academic semester at its three campuses in Lima, Juliaca and Tarapoto.
The opening was held in a virtual program and was attended by the administrative and academic authorities of this university.
Likewise, students from different academic semesters participated actively with messages sent both through social networks and Zoom meeting application.
Dr. Raúl Acuña Salinas, academic vice-president of the institution, was in charge of the welcoming remarks and emphasized to the participants to never lose joy, to do ordinary things in an extraordinary way and to be optimistic. He also encouraged them to have a sense of mission and to help others using the talents that God gives them, «May the things we do have a sense of mission. Daniel Montalván, president of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the north of the country and promoter of this house of studies, emphasized «Take advantage of all the opportunities to achieve a better personal, spiritual, social and academic development. Continue to give your best effort and commitment because with God’s blessing everything will work out well.
At the end of the program, the deans of the Faculties of Business Sciences, Health Sciences, Human Sciences and Education, Engineering and Architecture and Theology expressed their greetings of welcome to the new academic term.
