In a year in which COVID-19 threatens the health and welfare of all citizens of the planet, the Universidad Peruana Unión (UPeU) Campus Juliaca, through its Outreach area of the Faculty of Health Sciences, provided a free informative talk through the Zoom digital platform.

This praiseworthy activity was carried out with the aim of promoting health care through prevention and hygiene and protection measures through cleaning and disinfection of spaces and objects. Also emphasized was the need for frequent hand washing after each activity, as well as trusting in God to prevent depression.

The health care information and prevention talk was held on May 21 at 11:00 a.m. and was given by Magaly Rojas, professor of the Professional School of Nursing of this university.

The beneficiaries of this activity were more than 67 people, including the UPeU teachers, students and the general population.

The pandemic has hit hard in every country and it is best to prevent it through the practice of a healthy lifestyle, putting into action the eight natural remedies that the Seventh-day Adventist Church promotes.
