On June 5, 2018, the Universidad Peruana Unión (UPeU) received institutional licensing from the National Superintendence of Higher Education (SUNEDU) in compliance with the eight basic conditions of quality. This achievement marked a historic day, full of gratitude and celebration among the members of the university community.
Today we are living in difficult times in which mental health is being affected and the UPeU, through its students and graduates, seeks to further the development of the country and the welfare of citizens.
In this context, Sunedu approved the modification of the institutional license and recognized the creation of the study program of a second specialty in Clinical and Health Psychology under the classroom modality to be offered at the UPeU in its Lima headquarters and branches in Juliaca and Tarapoto.
The publication with resolution of the Board of Directors No. 056-2021-SUNEDU/CD was issued on Thursday, May 27th of this year in the Official Newspaper “El Peruano”.
It is important to mention that the Universidad Peruana Unión has the necessary human and economic resources for the development and execution of the new academic program.
In addition, it has lines of research linked to the new program, publications and annual citations in Web of Science and Scopus and 17 research professors recognized by Concytec.
