As part of the 38th anniversary of the creation of the UPeU School of Business Administration, the Professional School of Administration held a special Administrative Internship Investiture program on Sunday, September 12.
The ceremony was broadcasted through digital platforms and was attended by administrative and academic authorities from the UPeU Lima, Juliaca and Tarapoto. Also, the presence of the students of the aforementioned professional school in its face-to-face and blended modalities.
The program began with the welcoming words of Dr. Maritza Arana, dean of the faculty, who addressed the students and mentioned that «Starting today you will move on to a new stage in which you will consolidate all the knowledge and skills acquired in the first four years of study. You will be doing your internships and your competencies will be consolidated through the practices with the use of the simulators and in each of the companies. May this new experience help them achieve their life’s purpose successfully.
Dr. Raúl Acuña, UPeU’s academic vice-rector, explained the curricular patterns in which is emphasized the spiritual development, healthy living, higher thinking, effective oral and written communication plus digital skills as part of the competencies of the graduate profile. He also emphasized that «learning and service must be focused on the mission» and encouraged the interns to «do things from the heart as for the Lord».
Then, Mg. Danney Alomía, director of the Administration PD; Mr. Julio Torres and Dr. Mario Siles, coordinators of the Administration PD in the Juliaca and Tarapoto branches, respectively, made the presentation and investiture of the interns in the face-to-face and blended modality.
