With more than 400 attendees in the Zoom room and another 300 on the official Facebook account, the third workshop organized by the School of Business Sciences entitled «Business development through the formalization of a business» was held with the purpose of training the business and entrepreneurial sector with trends and information on tax law and fiscal management for starting or maintaining a business.
Miguel Angel Valdivia Soto, who is a certified public accountant and specialist in the securities market by the Superintendence of Markets and Securities, was in charge of developing the presentation and addressed the audience saying, «it is very important today for the emergence of a business or to maintain it successfully to obtain the necessary knowledge of tax formalization and tax culture because this is one of the ways to obtain the guarantees for the progress of our business».
The presentation was attended by entrepreneurs and small and medium business owners who attended virtually from different parts of the country since the activity brought together the professional school of accounting from the three campuses of the UPeU. For his part, Dr. Cristian Vallejos, coordinator of the EP Accounting UPeU Tarapoto Campus, took the opportunity to mention that «currently we must take advantage of the pandemic to innovate and further entrepreneurship, rather than seeing the situation as a problem we must use it as an opportunity.”
Likewise, the students of the Faculty of Business Sciences who also participated were thankful for the presentation on this important topic that helps to expand knowledge, and most importantly apply it to real problems and contribute to the development of the region and the country.
