Message from the Rector

Dear community Unionist:

Welcome to the university community unionist. We are part of the global network for educational seventh-day adventist which has 117 universities.

The origin of our institution dates from 1919, at a time where the guns of the first World War were still smoldering. From the start we experience what it means to grow and develop in a context of adversity.

He has spent more than a century and there are no guns smoky. Today other wars around us; conflicts that are of a different nature and that are located in the field of education. In the middle of the lid, christian values are colliding with the anti-degrading society. This is a silent war, less noticeable and, therefore, very dangerous.

Adventist education proposes a comprehensive education that will strengthen all the dimensions of the human being to form leaders with principles. On the other hand, there are various educational proposals contemporary whose maximum aspiration is mainly in the form professionals. Peruvian Union University, therefore, goes far beyond that.

At the end of your career you come up with a title under the arm, that he shall testify of your academic excellence. But, it will be much more than that; because not only does it prepare you for “the present life, but for a world to come.” Your training is based on christian principles.

Our university has a strong focus international, with a wide range of exchange and mobility programmes. It also enjoys a rich life as an academic, spiritual, cultural, and sports, along with the best services. In addition, we are a university as a socially responsible strives to ensure an environmentally sustainable campus.

I ask that you take advantage of every opportunity to increase your intellect, develop yourself socially, strengthen your physical state and to cultivate a higher spirit.
