Moments of prayer are a blessing for human beings, since through them we can find strength in God.
In her writings, Ellen White mentions, «Prayer is the act of opening our heart to God as to a friend». She also adds that «Prayer does not bring God down to us, but lifts us up to Him» and opens the doors to all that God can do.
In this sense, the Universidad Peruana Unión participates in daily moments of prayer and in its institutional anniversary with the campaign «Peru, I pray for you» reinforced this act of communication with God at 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Every morning and afternoon the teaching staff and union students of the three campuses in Lima, Juliaca and Tarapoto joined through social networks and virtual platforms of this house of studies to pray for a specific reason, to ask for healing, protection and peace in the difficult times that Peruvian families are going through.
Furthermore, this campaign of prayer and solidarity reached the Congress of the Republic of Peru and the Presidency of the Republic where a group of young union students raised their prayers asking for wisdom for all their leaders.
