The Universidad Peruana Unión (UPeU) is concerned about the integral development of its students, and the spiritual well-being of its administrative and academic staff.
In this sense, the Spiritual Emphasis Week titled «Transformed» was successfully held from May 14th to May 22nd.
The programs were carried out through the virtual platforms and official social networks of the institution in which teachers and students were connected, and participated in praises and testimonies to be motivated to follow Jesus despite the circumstances.
It was a blessed week that also saw the participation of families in the «Prayer Gardens».
Pastor Alejando Delgado, associate evangelist of the California Central Conference, shared the messages of hope to the more than 20,630 participants from the community and university churches of the Lima, Juliaca and Tarapoto campuses.
As a result of this week of spiritual revival, 78 people decided to accept Jesus through a baptismal ceremony.
It was a week of blessing. Therefore, the university in general is preparing to participate in the 40 days of preparation with the missionary book entitled «The Armor of God» as part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, which will motivate the habit of prayer and the reading of the Word of God, from June 1st to July 10th.
