In this sense, the Universidad Peruana Unión (UPeU) with its Faculty of Health Sciences, took the initiative to actively promote the 8 protective factors of health, which are: Water, Rest, Exercise, Sunlight, Air, Nutrition, Temperance, and Hope.
This noble initiative has been carried out during the academic cycle 2021 – 1 with the support of two strategic axes; Comprehensive training and spiritual development of the UPeU campus Juliaca. The dynamics to promote the 8 protective factors of health were carried out through challenges with messages referring to the 8 habits, in which each student had to share a photo on their social networks, where the practice of one of the 8 habits was evidenced healthy.
Thanks to this type of activity, the students and teachers of the Faculty of Health Sciences have become aware of the practice of a healthy lifestyle since the university is an ideal setting for the promotion of health.
The promotion and practice of healthy habits continue to be encouraged, which we invite to share or comment on the publication that students make of each protective factor of health on their social networks, in this way we will be contributing to the promotion of healthy practices for disease prevention.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
