The Peruvian Union University trains professionals with the gift of service and love for others. Proof of this is that there are many Union professionals who carry out dedicated missionary work in the institutions they work for.
In this regard, the VIII Meeting of the Network of Missionary Nurses and Nursing Graduates was held, which sought to consolidate the permanent link with graduates and strengthen the competencies of health professionals.
The event took place through the virtual platform Zoom and was attended by academic staff, graduates and students of the Professional School of Nursing of the UPeU.
As part of the program on August 19 and 26, conferences and workshops were held in which the topics «Care of my mental health» and «Being a leading nurse» were exposed.
Likewise, on Friday, August 27 and Saturday, August 28, the graduates participated in themes of reflection and praise in the strengthened their faith, since, as health professionals, every day bring relief to the needy through nursing care with quality and warmth. In addition, they participated in a gratitude program in which they shared their testimonies of the care of God during the pandemic that is being experienced.
At the end of the meeting the participants enjoyed a concert and shared moments of fraternity in which they recalled the experiences lived during their academic period.
