To achieve this categorization, the UPeU Medical Clinic was visited by an operational team from the DIRIS Lima East of MINSA to verify the indicators of infrastructure, evaluation of professional records, evaluation of operations and legal aspects, in June of this year.
As a result, the UPeU Medical Clinic obtained Category 1-2 status, which means that UPeU Medical Office meets basic quality criteria for health care and complies with the guidelines supportted by MINSA.
This achievement will lay the foundations for the organization and the medical office, as well as the possibility of continuing to grow by offering a larger portfolio of services.
«Our commitment as a health care provider institution is to provide care according to our institutional model so that in addition to making diagnosis of physical illnesses we can also present the Physician of Physicians. On the other hand, we have the vision of continuing to grow until we become an university hospital,» said Dr. Roger Albornoz, director of the Medical Clinic office.
It is important to mention that the Clinic provides general medicine, psychology, nutrition, pediatrics and growth and development services. The occupational health unit is also in the process of being categorized.
