In order to train the academic staff and provide a comprehensive quality education to the students of the Universidad Peruana Unión, the Pedagogical Training Workshops for leaders and teachers of the professional schools of the three campuses: Lima, Juliaca and Tarapoto, are successfully carried out.
To date, six workshops have been held as part of the Continuous Training Program 2021-1 and featured specialized national and international speakers including: Dr. Jhon Taylor (USA), Dr. Sonia Krumm (Argentina) and Claudia Brunelli (Argentina).
The workshops will continue until June 22nd and will cover the following topics:
– Use of databases for academic purposes.
– Applications of complex thinking in higher education.
– Online teaching for the development of critical thinking and the cognitive levels of Bloom’s digital Taxonomy.
– Design and use of interactive videos in the classroom.
– Digital resources for teaching and learning science in the online modality.
– Online resources for learning assessment.
It is important to mention that these training workshops are carried out to optimize teaching performance and ensure quality education according to the UPeU educational model.
All these actions will be implemented to improve the teaching-learning process, reaffirming the worldview, Christian philosophy and healthy lifestyle to fulfill the institutional mission.
