From June 1st to July 10th, the Universidad Peruana Unión in its three campuses in Lima, Juliaca and Tarapoto, joins together to participate in the 40 days of preparation with the missionary book entitled «The armor of God» from the Seventh-day Adventist Church, the promoter of this institution.
The journey is carried out with the objective of developing the habit of prayer and strengthening the spiritual life of the collaborators of this house of studies. In addition, to train them to fulfill the mission through the daily study of the Bible.
For this purpose, there will be prayer partners and a daily routine for the success of the day: the reading of the missionary book, which provides practical instruction for prayer and Bible study.
The opening program was conducted through the Zoom application and was attended by the administrative and academic staff of the UPeU. Also there were the SDA Church authorities for the northern part of the country.
«When you pray, converse with Jesus as if He were by your side», was one of the fragments that was highlighted at the beginning of this spiritual journey because «prayer is a conversation with God».
In this way the Universidad Peruana Unión participates in the 40 days of preparation, through its organized small groups and prayer partners to have a close communion with God.
