In 2018, Dr. Gluder Quispe, President of the Peruvian Union University (UPeU) and Dr. Andrea Luxton, President of Andrews University (AU) signed an international transfer agreement for UPeU applicants with the objective of offering Andrews University professional programs at UPeU.
The agreement called Andrews University International Transfer Partnership (AITP), will benefit national and international applicants from UPeU where they will have the opportunity to study at Andrews University-USA.
The International Transfer program consists of applying to the Peruvian Union University where they will take only general courses and then transfer to Andrews University and take the courses that UPeU does not offer. Upon completion of the career the student receives the degree from Andrews University.
The major benefit of the International Transfer program is the 50% discount of the tuition fee at Andrews University, this discount is for the student who has entered UPeU and transferred to AU.

It should be noted that this program is only for undergraduate students. Those interested in participating must meet the following requirements:
– To be a national or international applicant to UPeU.
– Complete the general courses at UPeU as prerequisites for transfer to AU.
– Complete 55 academic credits, for science programs, and 59 credits for humanities programs.
Upon completion of the general courses, the UPeU student transfers to AU to take only career courses that range in time from 2 to 3 years, on the other hand, it is important to have the financial resources to pay for the tuition fees at AU, a requirement requested by the U.S. Embassy for the issuance of the F-1 Student visa.
Thus, UPeU students will have several benefits such as broadening their vision by becoming a global citizen, creating new friendships, having job opportunities in the United States and above all will continue to feel part of a quality academic formation under the principles and values.
