On Sunday, May 2nd, the Universidad Peruana Unión held the virtual 2020-2021 Graduation Ceremony for its three campuses in Lima, Juliaca and Tarapoto, in which 753 graduates participated.

The ceremony was attended by UPeU authorities, Dr. Gluder Quispe, Rector; Dr. Raúl Acuña, Academic Vice Rector; Mr. Álvaro Masías, Administrative Vice Rector; Pr. Jaime Pérez, Vice Rector of University Welfare; Mr. Wilberth González, Secretary General; Dr. Eddie Cotacallapa, Director of the Juliaca Campus and Dr. Roussel Dávila, Director of the Tarapoto Campus.

There were 133 graduates who received the academic degree of Bachelor, 475 received their professional degree, 39 received the second specialty in Nursing, 96 received the academic degree of Master and 10 received the academic degree of Doctor.

The event also included the Recognition of Merit for Academic Excellence 2020 and the presentation of the group of young people who achieved the first places in each degree program.

On behalf of all the graduates, Melissa Arce expressed her words of gratitude to God, teachers and parents. She also emphasized to continue being faithful to «our principles, to our dreams and to leave our mark».

This is how Universidad Peruana Unión trains professionals with principles and values to serve the community.
