Y es que, como afirma el Dr. Salom\u00f3n Huancahuire, director DGI (Direcci\u00f3n General de Investigaci\u00f3n UPeU), cuando miramos mundialmente el tema de la producci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica \u00abencontraremos que mayormente se da en Europa y Estados Unidos\u00bb mientras que los pa\u00edses latinoamericanos aparecen en los \u00faltimos lugares del r\u00e1nking.\u00a0 Pero, esto que ha sido un problema hist\u00f3rico, ha empezado a cambiar y podemos ver una evidencia de ello en la Universidad Peruana Uni\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El director de DGI, nos comparte un cuadro en donde se puede observar el notable incremento de las publicaciones cient\u00edficas en la prestigiosa Base de datos Scopus (ver imagen que acompa\u00f1a a esta nota). Observamos que el a\u00f1o 2019 hubo 22 publicaciones cient\u00edficas y que el 2020 se duplic\u00f3 esa cifra a 52 publicaciones. Estamos a mitad de a\u00f1o y, para esta fecha, ya se cuenta con 43 publicaciones realizadas. Estos resultados dibujan un panorama optimista. Lo que representaba un problema se ha convertido en una posibilidad.<\/p>\n<p>Si a esto se le suma el reciente evento desarrollado en la UPeU: <em>\u201cX Jornada de Investigaci\u00f3n Cient\u00edfica de Estudiantes de la UPeU\u201d<\/em>, se percibe que el camino de la investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica se muestra muy prometedor.
